Omggg how have I never included The Hungers Games in the Olympic sport category!? For shame, me! Also VERY cool that you did archery! I want that to be my apocalypse skill, tbh. So sad story, I have not read ANY other books you chose, though I own several (Leviathan Wakes and Beach Read, and I might try DOSAB one day!) 850 pages is wayyy too long. If I get interested enough, I will watch the show 😂 I HAD to go check out She's Come Undone after reading about your experience- and at first I saw a bunch of 5stars from my GR friends, BUT then there are an equal number of 1 stars! So. I guess it really IS a divisive one! (Also THANK YOU for doing my tag! ♥♥♥)
Since you frequently post books I've never read, I call that a win, personally. 😀
Thanks for making this fun and challenging tag for me to do! And yes, I highly recommend archery- there's a sweet spot zen moment in archery where your focus is so entirely about one thing that everything else in the world fades away. I love that. It also doesn't require a lot of strength (more muscle stamina, from holding the tension in the bow) and it can be a really social sport when you have crew that's on the range together. Also…yes, handy for an apocalypse. 😀
