Wow, what a year. I hope you party safely tonight! Raise one for me, because I’ll be asleep by 10pm as usual.
I lost track of what I watched, after that. Honestly, Spirited is my new favorite holiday film (and no one is more surprised than I about that).
- I’m finally learning the Cricut and using it to make vinyl designs. I’m excited to try it as a precision fabric cutting machine, for making dog clothes- anything that saves me having to bend over and reach!
- I put our names in vinyl on 5 tiny stockings to hang on my scooter at Disney.
- I put designs on reusable straw carriers for my besties, as one of their holiday gifts.
- I started four custom shirts, but ran out of time to finish them because they’re super complex. Whoops!
- I started organizing my diamond painting kit supplies.
- I got my rock tumbler for polishing up all the quartz I’ve been finding.
- I started tying macrame crystal holder necklaces.
- I bought a needle felting kit to try out.
- I bought yarn (it was on sale!) to try yarn crafts, if my hands can deal. I’m taking a ‘learn to knit’ class at the local fiber shop next month!
Once again, I’ve discovered new lows in my health situation that impact my life. Namely, that I can’t travel anymore, and though I love Disney World, I think I’m going to have to rent out my DVC points and only go once every 2-3 years.
On the plus side, my brain fog is improved enough that I can edit for 2-3 hours per day, which means holding a part-time contracting gig. It isn’t enough to pay all the bills, but it certainly helps my savings account and my self-esteem.
