Ahoy! ’tis nearly the final day of #Pirateathon but ye have until midnight (EST) on the 30th- more like, when I wake up on Oct 1st, because the Pirate Code’s more what ye’d call guidelines– to log your final reads. Which among ye is gonna surprise us all, coming up from the rear to lead?

Captain’s Log

There be too much scuttlebutt to cover here- pirates may sleep late and pillage even later, but never say they don’t show up (if even at the last moment) to claim what they wish! This isn’t the final tally- that’ll be out in a week, after ye scurvy bilge rats send in the last of yer readin’. But here’s how things stand:

Gold

  • Cap’n Ellorie Wine of the brigantine The Drunken Strumpet, flying a red flag, has 4,490 pieces of gold.
  • Cap’n Aurelia Sherwood of the frigate The Banshee, flying a green flag, has 2,928 pieces of gold.

  • Cap’n Aster Blackwing of the schooner Huginn, flying a black flag, has a fierce reputation as a no-quarter-given buccaneer what always leads their crew to treasure (847 points).
  • Cap’n Four Eyed Annie of an as-yet-unnamed and flagless brigantine has an established reputation across three continents as a privateer who can dance their ship through a storm and sniff out the location of the weakest merchant vessels (546 points).
  • Cap’n Whinin’ Jane Dawkins of the schooner The Black Trinity, flying an orange flag, has an established reputation across three continents as a privateer who can dance their ship through a storm and sniff out the location of the weakest merchant vessels (545 points).

Fleet

  • Cap’n The Dread Mermaid of the brigantine Crown of Thorns, flying a black flag, leads an armada of pirate ships, a veritable floating nation (1,047 points).
  • Cap’n Tea of the Sea of the flagless brigantine Dragon’s Pearl practically has their own floating city, they’ve so many vessels at their command (622 points).
  • Cap’n Chelle ‘Devil’s Grin’ Thorne of the schooner Siren Song, flying a blue flag, has a fleet of ships so large, they cannot all drop anchor in the same bay at once (581 points).
  • Cap’n Aurelia Sherwood of the frigate The Banshee, flying a green flag, has quite a few ships in their fleet (482 points).
  • Cap’n Ellorie Wine of the brigantine The Drunken Strumpet, flying a red flag, has quite a few ships in their fleet (468 points).
  • Cap’n Whinin’ Jane Dawkins of the schooner The Black Trinity, flying an orange flag, has a few ships in their fleet (96 points).

  • Cap’ns Addie Savage Soul, Miss Mayhem, Sarr the No Beard Pirate, and The Dread Nautilus signed the accords but haven’t been spotted since. Time will tell whether they’ve been away makin’ themselves rich on booty, or retired their interest entirely.
