Characters: 3, I had a hard time caring anything about Sara, the MC. She’s emotionally cold, going through the motions of socializing while actively tuning people out and not caring about them as individuals at all, and aside from occasionally searching a crowd for her sister or best friend, doesn’t think about either for the vast majority of the book. She repeatedly sleeps with men she doesn’t care about (or for) or is even much attracted to after the first meeting, so I’m not sure what drives her at all.
