Characters: 9, not only could I tell you what every single one of the ten characters was like, I was invested in all of them. And all of them had an arc of growth (which maybe just means that we the reader had an arc of growth?). I hated and loved each of the characters- their complexities were absolutely delightful. Atmosphere: 8, the physical location wasn’t super fleshed out, but it didn’t need to be for the story.
